Harry, thanks for your burger blog. You really have a knack for writing about food, especially burgers. I also like the fact that you are teasing the reader by not showing your face, good tension builder as well as some humor. Look forward to your next adventure. PTF the wiennie (hot dog) queen.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading your informative blogs about burgers, a most important and worldly food topic!
If you want to try a Rundles burger, arguably, the best burger I have ever tasted to date (no bias), I would be more than happy to help make this happen for you.
The Rundles burger is only available to our kitchen team during their staff meals on Fridays during our restaurant season, around 2 p.m.
We are based in Stratford, Ontario, and we re-open for our 34th restaurant season on May 27th, 2011, and close down after services on Saturday, September 24th, 2011. So, we would need to plan this so you can visit us on a Friday during our season when the hamburgers are made fresh to order, and you can see for yourself just how amazing the Rundles staff burger really is!
Details matter when making a hamburger: Our kitchen team makes all aspects of their burgers, including, baking their own buns, in my opinion, the best ever hamburger buns. These buns truly make a world of difference compared to most burgers that have great meat patties, condiments, and sides, but, terrible buns for support. All aspects in a burger must be done properly, not just two-thirds as what is found in most burgers in restaurants all over the world.
Again, we would be honoured to host you here in Stratford sometime next summer, so, we should plan know to organize this opportunity for you, as you could also meet our chef de cuisine, Neil Baxter, and ask any questions about how Neil and his team make their excellent burgers.
